Palmer family.
Charles Henry Palmer family of Pontiac, Michigan. Palmer was an investor in, and developer of, mines and railroads in the state's upper peninsula. He was regent of the University of Michigan, 1852-1859. Palmer and his wife Betsey had four children: Charles, Clarence, Virginia, and Philomela.
