Rockwell, Cleveland, 1836-1907.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio. Served as a topographical engineer with the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey during the Civil War. After the war, engaged in surveying the Pacific coast and the Columbia River. Retired to Portland, Oregon in 1892.
