Hartz, Lester B., 1895-1987.
Lester B. Hartz was born in Duluth in 1895. In 1925, he opened a grocery in Roseau, Minnesota, and subsequently expanded his business with groceries throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. By the time of his death in 1987, over 400 stores existed. These papers constitute his records of the corporation.
