Baker, Lorena, 1897-1990

Born in Weatherford, Texas, Lorena Baker (1897-1990) graduated with a BS in Library Science from the University of Illinois in 1933, and was head of the Loan department at the University of Texas library for forty years. She was the author of Spanish Architecture in the Southwest; A Bibliography, (1933) and Call Number and Book Arrangement Manual: For Clerical Assistants in the University of Texas Library (1967).
