Farr, Thomas, d. 1788.
Charleston and St. Andrews Parish, S.C. merchant and South Carolina state legislator. Among the properties he owned were Hickory Hill Plantation on the Ashley River and an adjacent plantation called Savages. In 1760 he married Elizabeth Holmes. Among their children were William Branford Farr and Elizabeth Farr, who married John Splatt Cripps.
