Silsby, Herbert T.
Variant namesNative of the northern Hancock County town of Aurora, Me.; graduate from Bowdoin in 1947, he studied law and passed the bar; after 15 years of service as a Superior Court judge, he retired in 1977 to concentrate on family, historical research, and golf; for seven years was an author and columnist for the Ellsworth American.
