Massachusetts Baptist Missionary Society
Variant namesSquire Abbott (1770-1852) was born in Brookfield, Massachusetts, and raised in New York state before becoming a Baptist minister. Abbott moved to Ohio around 1818 to become the second pastor of the Kingsville Baptist church and, after a move further west, the first settled minister in the town of Henrietta in Lorain County.
