BIOGHIST REQUIRED Eddie Locke was born in a Detroit on August 2, 1930. He became a jazz drummer in Detroit and moved to New York City in 1954. Locke worked with many jazz musicians, including Roy Eldridge and Coleman Hawkins. He died on September 7, 2009 in New Jersey.
