Variant namesNaturalist, writer. Born in Massachusetts in 1900. B.S. from Colorado State University, 1924. Served as the regional naturalist for the Southwest Region of the National Park Service (1935-1963). Author of six books and over 300 articles on history and conservation in the Southwest.
