Galbraith (1937- ) served in the Air Force Security Service during the Cold War, from 1956-1960.

Born in Nebraska, he grew up in South St. Paul (Minnesota) and enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from South St. Paul High School. A Chinese language specialist, he served at the Shulikou Air Station in Taiwan monitoring radio frequencies.
