Hooper, Edward L.
Edward L. Hooper was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy (USMA). He was a 2nd lieutenant through major, 12th U.S. Infantry Regiment; lieutenant-colonel, 69th U.S. Infantry Regiment; captain, 37th U.S. Infantry Regiment; major, 3rd U.S. Infantry Reigment; student, Command and General Staff School (CGSC); Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) instructor University of Iowa; lieutenant colonel, 31st and the 4th U.S. Infantry Regiments; inspector, 76th U.S. Infantry Division; commandant, Fort Missoula Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) District; and colonel, Fort Lewis.
