Clemson University. Woman's Club
Variant namesThe Clemson College Woman's Club held its first regular meeting on February 1, 1916, in which a constitution was adopted. Sometime after 1927, the club lapsed. A meeting was held on February 11, 1947, for the purpose of organizing a women's club, which would foster sociability among the women associated with Clemson College and serve as a social and service auxiliary to the College. In 1964 the name was changed to the Clemson University Woman's Club.
