The Iowa State University Home Economics Alumni Association was organized in 1964. The name of the group was changed to the Iowa State University Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association (ISUFCSAA) in 1987 when the name of the college was changed. Its purpose is to help alumni: 1) provide scholarships for students, 2) plan continuing education for alumni, 3) keep current with new developments in home economics and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, 4) nominate outstanding alumni for recognition, and 5) renew college friendships and make new acquaintances. The Association is governed by an executive committee whose members are elected at the annual meeting. Executive committee meetings are held four times a year. Annual Association meetings for the membership are held annually in June.
