Joseph Clay Habersham (1830-1881) was the son of Dr. Joseph Clay Habersham (1790-1855) and grandson of John Habersham. During the Civil War he served as a surgeon of the 25th Georgia Regiment. He was the Heath Officer of Savannah for many terms, and a president of the Georgia Medical Society.
