Victoria and Albert Theatre Museum, Britain's National Museum of the Performing Arts holds one of the world's largest and most important collections relating to the British stage.

The Garrick Club was founded in 1831 by the Duke of Sussex. Limited to 700 members, its purpose was to further the literary industry in England.
