Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association

The Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association was formed on October 13, 1917 to represent the general and national interests of oil producers, casinghead gasoline producers, supply companies, refiners, as well as other segments of the petroleum and natural gas industry. Local divisions of the Association were created in 1919, with a branch devoted solely to Texas emerging in 1923. In 1997 the Texas Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association changed its name to the Texas Oil & Gas Association.
