Coleman, Charles.
Charles Coleman (1824?-1905?) was the son of Joseph and Sophie Coleman, and the brother of Joseph, Steve, John and Thomas Coleman. He was attending Gray's Inn (London, England) in 1851, became a lawyer and later a judge on England's "northern circuit". In October 10-15?, 1884 he married Kate Taplin and their daughter, Kitty Coleman, was born July 6, 1886 at Redcar, the family home. Kate died in 1903 and Kitty married a Maugham, reputed to be a relative of Somerset Maugham.
