This was a joint project of the Alaska Historical Commission, the University of Alaska Juneau, and the Alaska Historical Library. It was intended as a pilot project to determine the feasibility and mechanisms to provide easy access to historical correspondence data-sets for University of Alaska students and patrons of the Alaska Historical Library.
