Cornell University. Medical College. Crash Injury Research Project.
The Crash Injury Research (CIR) Project was begun at Cornell University Medical College in March 1942. The project received attention from the Civil Aeronautics Authority. In 1951, the CIR Project, with the Indiana State Police, began research in automotive accidents.
