American Dairy Association of Alabama.
Incorporated 28 Sep 1950; affiliated with the American Dairy Association which conducts research, public relations, and advertising to promote the use of milk and milk products. Initially, farmer participation in both Alabama and Georgia was insufficient for either to support a full-time manager and office staff. Consequently, the A.D.A. of Alabama and the A.D.A. of Georgia had a joint manager with offices in Columbus, Georgia. By 1960 increased farmer participation in both organizations resulted in the establishment of an Alabama A.D.A. office in Montgomery.
