David family.

Hide Profile

Frank A. David was a merchant in Moscow, Idaho. He entered business as a partner with McConnell-Maguire; after that firm went bankrupt in 1893, David started the Badger Store and later formed a partnership with Wellington Ely. Eventually, with David's sons replacing Ely in the partnership, their store on the corner of Third and Main became David's Department Store. The firm remained in the family until 1959.
