Edlis, Inc. (Pittsburgh, Pa.)
In 1888, Adolf Edlis founded the Pittsburgh barber and beauty supply business that eventually became the Edlis Company. Adolf and his son Jerome acted as president of the company. Both men became involved in city and state politics as well as the Pittsburgh Jewish community.
