John J. McCaffrey began his career in data processing with the Wright Aeronautical Corporation in Cincinnati, OH in 1942. He later worked with the Bureau of Public Debt and the Veterans Administration in Cincinnati, the Terre Haute Brewing Company in Terre Haute, IN, and the Reynolds Metals Company and State-Planters Bank in Richmond, VA. He later became president of Data Management of Miami (FL). After Data Management was sold, he worked with two other computer firms in Florida before becoming a private consultant.
