Wildman, Augustus, 1834-1872.
Augustus Wildman (1834-1872), son of Frederick S. Wildman of Danbury, Connecticut, was working in St. Louis in 1858 and set out for the Pikes Peak gold mines in 1859, but soon abandoned mining and moved to Denver. In 1865 he and his family returned east.
Thomas Gregory Wildman, brother of Augustus, lived in Denver from 1860 to 1866.
