Sophia Webster Lloyd was a school teacher, poet, and mother of John Uri Lloyd.
Moved from western New York to northern Kentucky with her husband Nelson Ashley Lloyd in 1853, Sophia Lloyd was a leading educator in Boone County, Kentucky during the 1850s and 1860s.
