William Nathaniel Simpson was born around 1904, in Richburg, S.C. He attended Clemson College, where he majored in Chemistry. He was a member of the Chester County Club; Chemistry Science Club (President); Howitzer Company, R.O.T.C., Camp McClellan, Ala. He graduated in 1925. By 1940, William Nathaniel Simpson could be found in Pierce, Fla., where he was Director of Chemical Control with the American Agricultural Chemical Company.
