Halsey, Leroy J. (Leroy Jones), 1812-1896
Variant namesWalter Lowrie was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1811-1812), a member of the Pennsylvania Senate (1813-1819), and U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania (1819-1825). He later served as Corresponding Secretary of the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. from 1836 to 1868.
