Covell, Louis Chapin, 1875-
Variant namesLouis Chapin Covell (b. June 22, 1875, Grand Rapids, Mich.), Brigadier General in the U.S. Army, entered the Michigan National Guard as a private in 1892. He served in the Spanish-American War and was commander of the 63rd Infantry Brigade, 32nd Division, in World War I.
