Hull, David Franklin, 1946-
Variant namesDavid F. Hull, Jr. was born and raised in western Maryland. He attended Louisiana State University as an undergraduate where he studied political science and took ROTC. He was assigned to an antiaircraft missile site in San Francisco, Calif., for six months before being sent to Vietnam to be an antiaircraft artillery tank platoon leader. He later transferred to a civil affairs unit headquartered at Long Binh.
