Miles, John L., 1878-1961
John L. Miles (b. Feb. 26, 1878, Centerville, Tenn.-d. July 1, 1961) was a Major in the 129th Field Artillery, 35th Division. He served in both the Spanish American War and World War I. He was an acquaintance of Harry S. Truman.
