Krebs, A. Sonnin (August Sonnin), 1877-1969
Variant namesA Sonnin Krebs was a chemical engineer of Wilmington, Del. He was the son of Hendrik Johannes Krebs (1847-1929), a native of Denmark who came to America and founded the Krebs Pigment & Chemical Company at Newport, Del., in 1901; A Sonnin Krebs succeeded his father as president of the firm in 1918. It was acquired by E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company in 1929.
