Quimby, Ian M.G.

Ian MacLeod Graham Quimby was director of publications at the Winterthur. A graduate of the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture, he also worked in the registrar's office. Mr. Quimby wrote a number of articles and several books, including American Silver at Winterthur and Apprenticeship in Colonial Philadelphia. He was elected to the University of Delaware Wall of Fame in 1984. He was a member of several historical and art organizations. Mr. Quimby died on November 4, 2002.
