Shippers of Sea Island cotton. Fraser, Trenholm and Co. was the English branch of John Fraser & Company of Charleston, South Carolina, which was owned by George Alfred Trenholm (1807-1876). John B. Lafitte was an agent of Fraser, Trenholm and Co.
