Ester, Helen

Helen Ester was a journalist member of a delegation of three women who went to Vietnam, Kampuchia, and the border camps for refugees on the Thai border on a visit arranged by the Union of Vietnamese Women and the Australia Vietnam Society. Other members were economist Melanie Beresford and trade unionist Aileen Beaver. The transcripts of the People's Revolutionary Tribunal, held in 1979, were given to Ester in Phnom Penh in January 1980 while she was touring with the delegation.
