Stebbins (b. 1812) operated a general store in Palmyra (Mich.), edited the "Michigan Expositor," and served as a postal official and deputy superintendent of public instruction in Adrian (Mich.). He was involved with the Shiawassee Sunday School Association. Stebbins was married and had two children. Also, he wrote a book, the History of the Plymouth Congregational Church of Lansing, which is in the Clarke Historical Library.
