Powlison, William L.

Born May 13, 1889 in North Plainfield, N.J. In 1916 began work as a patent librarian for the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce, retiring as chief librarian from the organization in 1953, when it was called the Automobile Manufacturers Association. Following his retirement he did freelance work on the automotive industry, until his death on Feb. 20, 1964.
