W. Thomas H. Ewing attended Normal College in Randolph County, North Carolina. In the College's catalog, he is listed as being from Macedonia [Ga.], under the "preparatory and irregular" students. His is also listed in the 1857-1858 catalog as a freshman but that is the last mention of him.
