Cushwa family of Berkeley County, W. Va., owners of Tuscarora and Valley flour and sawmills. Included are Jonathan Cushwa (1774-1833); Barnet Cushwa (1815-1880); Daniel G. Cushwa (1837-1915); and Henry Joseph Cushwa (b. 1848).
