Psychologist.

Schiller was born on November 4, 1903, in Budapest. He began his studies at Petrus Pazmany University in 1926, under psychologist Pál Ranschburg, where he later became a professor and the head of the psychology department. He developed aptitude tests for military/industrial use, established the Institute for Research on Public Opinion in Budapest, and he studied smoking and drinking habits and comparative psychology.

In 1947, he moved to the United States, where he joined the Yerkes Laboratory of Primate Biology in Orange Park, Florida, to work with an animal research program. Schiller died in an accident on Mount Washington on May 1, 1949.
