Conlee-Reed Family.

The Conlee family included Lieuan Estelle Conlee Achenbach (1837-1926), her uncle James Monroe Conlee (1833-1895), and her younger brothers Alexander Warren Conlee (1839-1910), William Barlow Conlee (1842-1904), and Thomas Alvey Conlee (1845-1910). Lieuan's daughter Jessie was the second wife of E. Glen Reed (1873-1960). Family members lived in several places in Illinois, as well as Nebraska, Colorado Territory, and California. Several family members fought in the Civil War while others prospected in Colorado.
