Lueg, Henry, 1830-1906.

Lueg, born in Prussia, came to the United States in 1861 and served in the Civil War as a member of the 21st New York Regiment Volunteers. He was a blacksmith and machinist by trade, coming to Minnesota in 1866. He lived the remainder of his life at Portland, Ore.

Lueg came to America from Prussia in 1861, served in the New York Volunteers, 1861-1863, worked in several eastern cities, and in 1867 joined a German emigrant train in St. Paul headed for Oregon. He was a blacksmith in Portland.
