Fort Worth Trades Assembly

Founded in 1894, the Fort Worth Trades Assembly brought together Tarrant County labor and trade unions for tailors, plasterers, barbers, printers, and others associated with the American Federation of Labor (AFL). In 1957, the Assembly merged with the Tarrant County Industrial Union Council (CIO) to form the Tarrant County Central Labor Council of the AFL-CIO.
