Southern Baptist Convention. Sunday School Board. Church Architecture Department.
The Sunday School Board of the SBC began in the early years of the 20th century to assist Southern Baptist churches with architectural needs, publishing a guide for churches in 1917. The Church Architecture Department was organized as a separate unit in 1940.
