The Carr family were the last owners of the Sudbury, Massachusetts dwelling known as the Plympton Family Home, which is now in Greenfield, Village, Dearborn, Michigan. Thomas Plympton, one of the founders of Puritan Sudbury reportedly built the house about 1640. In 1836 Abiathar Carr married Rebecca Wheeler. Their family came to include Luicinda Jane, Charlotte Maria, Frederick E. and Merrick, the last family member to live in the home before Henry Ford acquired it in May of 1930.
