Westbury House is a mansion contructed in the style of a 17th century English manor house for John S. Phipps and his family at Old Westbury, N.Y. The plans were by English designer George A. Crawley; the engineering and actual construction were overseen by American architect Grosvenor Atterbury. Principal construction took place 1904-1907. Architects for later additions and alterations include Horace Trumbauer; James O'Connor; Peabody, Wilson & Brown; and White, Allom & Co.
