Faith Lutheran Church (Seattle, Wash.)

In 1941 Faith Lutheran Church was organized as a mission by the Northwestern District of the ALC. Rev. John Hopp, the first pastor, came in May of 1942 and conducted the first service in a storeroom-chapel. The congregation was officially organized on January 17, 1942. Property was purchased at NE 82nd and 18th Avenue NE, construction began in 1946. On April 3, 1960, an addition to the original building was completed.
