Agnes Johnson was born Nov. 28, 1892 in Isabella County (Mich.), the daughter of Dwight and Laura (Casner) Johnson. Agnes graduated from Central Normal School, now Central Michigan University, in 1910. After teaching for two years, Agnes married Henry C. French on Oct. 12 1912, in Alma (Mich.). Agnes was a member of the Prospect Park Church of God and the Republican Women's Association. She died on April 30, 1992 at her home in Mount Pleasant (Mich.) and was survived by her five daughters: Lucile Biggam; Lois (Donald) Bellinger; Wilma (Richard) Hubel; Joyce (Ivan) Fish; and Jacqueline (Orland) Poland, 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
