Popova, Vera Aleksandrovna, 1882- .
Popova, an artist, was a member of a family of the Moscow bourgeoisie which gained its wealth in the 19th century; she was the cousin of the sculptress Li︠u︡bov ́S. Popova. Vera Popova associated with both the bourgeois and intellectual artistic worlds of pre-revolutionary Moscow; she left Russia for good in 1922, where she also lived before the Revolution.
