Felix G. Gerstman was active as a concert and theater promoter in New York in the 1940's and 1950's.

Among the concerts he managed are several which presented the music of Kurt Weill and featured performances by the composer's wife (then widow), the singing actress Lotte Lenya. These include: one at Hunter College in April 1943 entitled "We fight back," which was a benefit for the German-American War Bond Committee of the U.S. Treasury; the Weill memorial concert in Town Hall in February 1951 which presented the first American performance of The threepenny opera, and similar concerts at Carnegie Hall in February 1959 and 1960, and January 1965. He also managed a series of at least 14 annual "Viennese" New Year's Eve concerts at Town Hall, featuring singers and entertainers such as Grete Mosheim and Richard Tauber.
