New Mexico. Governor (1959-1960 : Burroughs)
John Burroughs was born in Robert Lee, Texas, in 1907. He completed his graduate studies at New Mexico A & M and taught in Clovis and Los Lunas. He served as a member of the State legislative, and as Governor of New Mexico, 1959-1960.
